Kristen Kline and Jeffrey Cerula were married May 23, 2009, at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Loretto.
Monsignor Timothy J. Swope performed the double-ring ceremony and celebrated a Nupital Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Frederick and Paula Kline of Johnstown.
The groom is the son of Joyce Cerula and Andrew Cerula, both of Johnstown.
Presented in marriage by her parents, the bride was attended by her sister, Melissa Baumgardner of Charlotte, N.C., as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Sharon Kline of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, sister-in-law of the bride; Stephanie Cerula of Pittsburgh, sister of the groom; Lindsey Shaffer of Johnstown; Apryle Horbal of Pittsburgh; Danielle Debias of Pittsburgh; Lauren Podlucky of Johnstown; and Leah Shaffer of East Stroudsburg, Monroe County, cousin of the bride.
Jonathan Kohut of Pittsburgh was the best man.
Groomsmen were Kevin Kline of Mechanicsburg, brother of the bride; Thad Baumgardner of Charlotte, N.C., brother-in-law of the bride; Benjamin Beas of Stillwater, Okla.; Matthew Ferrin of Johnstown; Adam Becker of Lancaster; Ivan Thomas of Williamsport, Md., cousin of the groom; and Stephen Thomas of New Market, Md., cousin of the groom.
Emily Mikesic of Johnstown was the flower girl.
Joshua Mikesic of Johnstown was the ringbearer.
A vocal performance was by Joshua Devett of Johnstown.
A reception was held at Richland Township Firemen’s Banquet Hall.
The bride and groom honeymooned in Fort Myers and Orlando, Fla.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Richland Senior High School and a 2007 graduate of Pitt-Johnstown.
In 2009, she graduated from Duquesne University’s Paralegal Institute, Pittsburgh.
She is employed by Neugebauer Swope & Swope in Ebensburg as a legal assistant.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Richland Senior High School and a 2005 graduate of Pitt-Johnstown.
He is employed by AmeriServ Trust & Financial Services in Johnstown as a trust accountant and assistant portfolio manager.
The newlyweds reside in Johnstown.
