Renee Dallas, Jason Kruise


Renee Lynn Dallas and Jason Michael Kruise were married May 16, 2009, at St. Barnabas Chapel, Bon Air.

The Rev. Daniel O’Neil, pastor of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Somerset, and the Rev. Robert Ruston, pastor of SS. Gregory & Barnabas Roman Catholic Church, Johnstown, performed the double-ring ceremony and celebrated a Nuptial High Mass.

The bride is the daughter of James Jr. and Marlene Dallas of Johnstown.

The groom is the son of Richard Jr. and Debra Kruise of Altoona.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her mother, Marlene Dallas, as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Stacey Matala, friend of the bride, and Danielle Makin and Michele Ritter, both cousins of the bride.

Richard Kruise Jr. was his son’s best man.

Ushers were Richard Kruise III, brother of the groom; James Dallas III, brother of the bride; and Ronald Corbisello, brother of the groom.

Katie Makin, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.

Darius Wolfe, cousin of the groom, was the ringbearer.

Audrey Cveykus was the organist.

Kathryn Janisko was the vocalist.

A dinner and a reception were held at This Is It Banquet Hall, Johnstown.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School and a 2006 graduate of Mount Aloysius College, Cresson, where she received an associate degree in surgical technology.

She is attending Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center, where she is pursuing a degree in nursing.

She is employed by Keystone Pain Institute, Altoona.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Altoona Area High School.

He is employed by Horell Painting in Altoona.

The newlyweds reside in Altoona.
