Lindcey René McDowell and John Charles Haddle were married May 16, 2009, at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Conshohocken, Montgomery County.
Monsignor Robert J. Grudowski performed the double-ring ceremony.
The groom is the son of John E. and Deanna Haddle of Johnstown.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Kari McDowell of Marshallville, Ga.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her friend, Britt Johnson of San Francisco, Calif., as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Amy Chandler, Angela Kutchera and Janice Urgo, all of Philadelphia, friends of the bride.
Matthew Haddle was his brother’s best man.
Groomsmen were Shawn McDowell of Marshallville, brother of the bride; Dennis Baran of Pittsburgh; Courtney Gilbert of Reston, Va.; Christopher Kikel of Arlington, Va.; Craig Moreland of Gibsonia, Allegheny County; Matthew Trigona of North Fayette; and John Urgo of Philadelphia, friends of the groom.
Ian Crowie of Philadelphia was the ringbearer.
Jason Petrusic of Lancaster and Brad Cicolella of Wexford, Allegheny County, read Scripture.
Angelic Instruments provided the music during the ceremony.
A reception was held at Plymouth Country Club, Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery County.
The bride and groom honeymooned on the island of St. Lucia.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Houston County High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor’s degree in genetics.
She is employed by the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania as a clinical perfusionist.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Bishop McCort High School and a 2001 graduate of Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, where he received a bachelor’s degree in perfusion.
He is employed by the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania as the perfusion department manager.
The newlyweds reside in Eagleville, Montgomery County.
