JOHNSTOWN —
Rebecca Lankes and Sean Agnew were married June 10, 2011, at Toftrees Croquet Lawn, State College.
Pastor Kathy Colebank performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Judy Lankes of Cresson.
The groom is the son of William and Jackie Sherry of Conneaut Lake, Crawford County, and Michael Agnew of Harmonsburg, Crawford County.
Presented in marriage by her parents, the bride was attended by Marianne Koval of West Chester as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Jodi Nawrocki of Chester Springs, Chester County, cousin of the bride; and Erin Haas of Hoboken, N.J., cousin of the bride.
David Skukalek of Pittsburgh was the best man.
Ushers were Michael Nawrath of Conneaut Lake; and Kevin Lankes of New York, N.Y., brother of the bride.
Richard Wylie was the guitarist.
A dinner and reception were held at Toftrees Resort.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Penn Cambria High School, Cresson, and a 2002 graduate of Penn State, where she received a bachelor’s degree in sociology.
In 2006, she earned a master’s degree in social work from West Chester University.
She is a clinical social worker.
The groom is a 1991 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School and a 1995 graduate of Penn State, where he received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education.
In 1997, he earned a master’s degree in student affairs from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
He is employed by Penn State.
The newlyweds reside in State College.
