JOHNSTOWN —
Kelly Shoup and Charles A. Laverty were married Aug. 18, 2012, at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Johnstown.
The Rev. Anthony Francis Spilka performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Diane Shoup of Johnstown. The groom is the son of Brian and Joanne Laverty of Troy, Bradford County.
Presented in marriage by her parents, the bride was attended by Angela Caperelli as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Emily Balantine, Christina Riberich, Kelly Kujwaski and Courtney Moser.
Christopher Linberry was the best man.
Groomsmen were Kevin DeStephano, Frank Magagnotti, Garrett Shoup and Brandon Sisco.
Lena Goff was the flower girl.
Christopher and Matthew Pinto were the ringbearers.
A reception was held at Frank J. Pasquerilla Conference Center, Johnstown.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Clarion University. She is attending graduate school at Duquesne University for nurse practitioner.
She is a registered nurse in the children’s emergency room at UPMC of Pittsburgh.
The groom is a 2009 graduate of Slippery Rock University.
He is a physical therapist at Lifecare Hospital.
The newlyweds reside in Pittsburgh.
