INDIANA —
State police in Indiana are investigating two vehicle break-ins that occurred within three miles of each other between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday in White Township.
Tina Taylor of Blairsville reported having a black Gucci purse and wallet which contained her license and other items stolen from her car in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn along Wayne Avenue.
Ezra Robinson of Indiana reported a wallet, a pair of black Fila tennis shoes and black denim jeans were taken from his car. Police say the suspect then used the victim's credit card for purchases in the White Township area.
Troopers were unable to comment on whether the thefts appear to be related.
Anyone with information is urged to call the Indiana State Police at (724) 357-1960.
