CESSNA —
State police in Bedford are investigating a motor vehicle accident that took the lives of three people, incuding two from Beaverdale.
According to police, the accident happened just after 10 p.m. Sunday along Route 4009 in East St. Clair Township.
Driver Robert C. Broad, 84, and his passenger, Rhonda L. Reighard, 53, both of Beaverdale, were killed when their 2002 Hyundai Elantra was struck by a car that crossed the center line.
Police said the unidentified driver of that vehicle, a 1989 Jeep Cherokee, also was killed in the crash.
The investigation continues.
