Roofing contractor pleads guilty to ripping off customers

EBENSBURG — A Johnstown roofing contractor pleaded guilty this morning in county court to ripping off customers for tens of thousands of dollars by not doing or completing work.

Jason Diirner, 34, of Speciality Roofing will be sentenced Sept. 6 by Judge Norman Krumenacker.

Prosecutors are recommending an 18-to-36 months state prison sentence, plus lengthy parole period.
