The young and the restless: The Tomahawks Charity Classic roster

— Mitch Kontny will get a chance to score against Marc-Andre Fleury. Jesse Kessler may get an opportunity to stop Jordan Staal on an odd-man break. Cody Gylling might receive a pass from Pascal Dupuis.

The Tomahawks Charity Classic, which will be played on Wednesday at Cambria County War Memorial Arena, combines members of the North American Hockey League’s Tier II Junior A Johnstown franchise with players from the locked-out NHL.

Rosters for the charity game, which sold out in seven minutes, were released Friday.

Professional players on the Navy roster are Deryk Engelland, Dupuis, Chris Kunitz and Joe Vitale of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Staal of the Carolina Hurricanes. Penguins forward James Neal is tentatively scheduled to play.

Members of the Tomahawks playing for Navy are Cody Bentzel, Casey Nelson, Jeff Bergh, Jake Fairchild, Cody Boyd, Zack Wallace, Jordan Watt, Joe Bender, Brandon Reinholz, Cody Gylling, Kontny and goalie Chris Truehl.

Tomahawks coach Jason Spence and assistant Mike Letizia are the Navy coaches. Two roster spots have not been announced.

The White team will feature Ben Lovejoy, Brooks Orpik, Matt Cooke, Craig Adams, Tyler Kennedy and Fleury of the Penguins. Joe Tallari, who once topped the 50-point mark with the Johnstown Chiefs, will be one of the forwards.

So will two members of the Pittsburgh Vipers – Clayton Bouchard and Trevor Recktenwald. White defenseman Jake Pilewicz plays for Penguins Elite.

The Tomahawks include Ian Spencer, Kristaps Bazevics, Kessler, Cobi Smith-Mass, Jaycob McCombs, Andrew McDonald, Connor Wright, Mike Sandor, J.B. Baker and goalie Colin Brennan.

Co-coaches for the White team are Tomahawks President Rick Bouchard and General Manager Rick Boyd.
