JOHNSTOWN —
Two people were injured Friday morning in Ferndale Borough when a car slid into an ambulance carrying one patient, Upper Yoder Township police said.
A car was traveling down Hystone Avenue when the vehicle slid on the icy road into a Somerset Area Ambulance that was transporting one patient on a nonemergency call, police said.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries. There names were not available. The ambulance patient was not injured, police said.
Upper Yoder Township ambulance transported the patient to Memorial Medical Center. Ferndale police are investigating.
