A missing Berlin area teen’s family is offering a $1,000 reward for her safe return.
Daria Kiesnowski, 15, was last spotted leaving Conemaugh Counseling Associates, Walnut Street, around 2:30 p.m. Friday and was wearing a blue shirt and multi-colored scarf, Johnstown Police said.
Berlin police are also investigating.
The teen’s adopted father, Thad Kiesnowski said he received a brief phone call over the weekend but offered little information.
“She called and said she is with a friend and then basically hung up,” he said, saying her family is worried. “We just don’t know. Somebody could make her say that. Anything is possible at this point.”
The family said they believe she might be in the Johnstown-Somerset region but said she could be anywhere.
“We are certain that somebody knows something,” Thad Kiesnowski said. “Somebody had to drive her somewhere or help her.”
Posters displaying a photo of Daria have been placed throughout the area since the weekend.
Kiesnowski is described as 5 feet tall and approximately 120 pounds with brown eyes and hair. She speaks with a noticeable Polish accent, family has said.
Anyone with information can contact police or Kiesnowski directly as 442-2077.
