SOMERSET —
A Somerset man wanted on a police warrant was picked up last week after he was caught stealing a 12-pack of beer.
Somerset police said staff at The Tracks bar chased down Jeremy Dunmeyer, 34, after he ran out of their bar Feb. 24 with a $8.75 worth of Milwaukee’s Best Light beer.
Dunmeyer ended up tripping during the chase and was caught and taken back to the bar where he allegedly told police he stole the beer.
Because of an outstanding warrant, he was taken to Somerset County Jail.
