QUAKERTOWN —
State police in suburban Philadelphia say a head-on collision between a sedan and a sport utility vehicle has killed both drivers.
Police in Bucks County say the crash was reported at about 7 a.m. Sunday on Route 663 in Milford Township.
Investigators said the southbound sedan crossed into the northbound lane of travel and collided with the SUV.
They said 23-year-old Nicholas Umberger of Quakertown and 52-year-old Terry Carrozzino were pronounced dead at the scene. Both were wearing seat belts.

Fire in suburban Philly home kills 1, injures 1
CONSHOHOCKEN — Authorities in suburban Philadelphia say fire has claimed the life of an elderly woman and injured a man.
Emergency crews were dispatched at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday to the Conshohocken section of Whitemarsh Township.
Police Chief Mike Beaty said in a statement that crews found a 70-year-old man in the rear of the home with burn injuries.
He says "extensive fire was engulfing the entire structure" at the time.
Firefighters later found 71-year-old Barbara Conicello dead in a bedroom on the ground floor.
The male victim was taken to Bryn Mawr hospital, where a spokeswoman told The Philadelphia Inquirer that he was in fair condition.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Apartment fire leaves 1 dead
ERIE — Fire officials in northwestern Pennsylvania say a person was found dead after a blaze in an apartment.
Officials say the fire broke out in the Edinboro unit at about 8 p.m. Saturday.
Emergency dispatchers said the coroner was summoned two hours later.
No further information was available about the victim or the cause of the fire.
A public safety official declined comment Sunday and said no further information would be released until Monday.

Vice president coming to Pennsylvania Thursday
CHICAGO — The wife of Vice President Joe Biden has canceled events in Pennsylvania due to the approaching storm — but the vice president himself will be coming to the commonwealth on Thursday.
The Obama campaign announced Sunday that Jill Biden's scheduled events in Pennsylvania and North Carolina on Sunday and Monday had been canceled.
The campaign said the action was taken "out of an abundance of caution to ensure that all local law enforcement and emergency management resources can stay focused on ensuring the safety of people who might be impacted by the storm."
But officials also announced that Vice President Joe Biden will speak "at grassroots events in Iowa and Pennsylvania" on Thursday.
No information was immediately given on the location or time of the events.
